Coffe and teaThe family hotel Villa Basileia had originated from the reconstruction of a summerhouse formerly belonging to the countess von Schaumburg Lippe, which came to love Karlovy Vary in the nineteenth century. She had her villa built in a New Romanesque style, inside the beautiful valley of the Teplá river, which is the gateway into the spa centre of Karlovy Vary. During the reconstruction of the Villa Basileia into a family hotel, we have managed to preserve the original layout of the aristocratic mansion.
We offer accommodation for you in 7 double-bedded rooms and 2 suites equipped in the standard of a *** hotel with "Garni" type hotel services. The rooms are equipped with bathrooms featuring a bath or a shower and a toilet, TV SAT, Wi-Fi internet connection, coffee and tea making facilities, refrigerator and a safe deposit box.
In our hotel, we provide massages, whirlpool and pearl baths, and an infra-cabin. There are swimming pools in the vicinity of the hotel, and of course colonnades for drinking cure. For wellness programs and special curative programs, we offer a contracted private spa clinic Harfa. Thanks to the hotel's position, it is an ideal location for jogging and even the starting point for hiking and cycling tours. During the summer months, we offer pleasant seating in our garden with a pool and a sun deck. Karlovy Vary is the place of the International Film Festival and our hotel is in the viscinity of the movie theatre halls. The family hotel Pension Vila Basileia has its own enclosed parking space.
